Lihua Chen is an Adjunct Professor of Management at the Gary E. West College of Business, West Liberty University. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Kent State University, alongside M.S. and B.S. degrees in Business Management and Management Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
Her research focuses on supply chain management, strategic supply chain management, and operations management. Notable work includes studies on transfer pricing in stochastic demand environments and supply chain coordination mechanisms. She has presented at conferences such as the Allied Academy of Information and Management Science and published in journals like Decision Science Letters and International Journal of Business Performance and Supply Chain Modeling.
Chen is actively involved in university committees including the Institutional Review Board, WCOB Curriculum Committee, and Faculty Tenure and Promotion Committee. Her teaching spans Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Statistics. Outside academia, she enjoys family time, reading, and movies.
