Ligita Stramkale is an Associate Professor at the University of Latvia, affiliated with the College of Education and Psychology and the Department of Preschool and Primary Education. Her academic work focuses on music education, remote learning, pedagogical innovation, and curriculum design for early childhood and primary education.
Her research explores the integration of music into teaching practices, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on educational delivery, and strategies for enhancing teacher well-being and student engagement. She has contributed to projects on competency-based curricula, talent development, and innovative pedagogical frameworks.
Recent publications analyze remote music education, teacher job satisfaction, and the adaptation of Montessori principles to modern curricula. She actively participates in international conferences, presenting findings on digital learning, student motivation, and teacher training.
