Liangzhong Xiang, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. His research focuses on advanced radiation imaging technologies, including radiation-induced acoustic imaging (RAI), X-ray-induced acoustic computed tomography (XACT), and protoacoustic imaging for real-time dosimetry in proton and FLASH radiotherapy. Dr. Xiang’s work bridges physics and clinical oncology, with applications in improving radiation therapy precision and safety.
