Liangchi Zhang

Scientia Professor Liangchi Zhang is affiliated with the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), located at the Ainsworth Building (J17), Level 2, Room 208B, Kensington Campus. His research focuses on precision and nano manufacturing, nanomechanics, advanced materials characterization, tribology, solid mechanics, and computational mechanics. He is an internationally recognized expert in abrasive technology and has contributed extensively to fields such as machining, materials science, and engineering education.

Professor Zhang has authored/co-authored over 556 journal articles, 17 books, and 23 book chapters. He has edited multiple volumes, including Engineering Education and Management (Springer, 2011) and Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (Trans Tech Publications, 2011).
