Dr Liang Li is a Lecturer at Brunel Design School within Brunel University London's College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences. He holds a PhD from Brunel University London and specializes in energy storage, heat exchanger design, and thermodynamic power cycles.

His research focuses on sustainable energy systems, including microchannel heat exchangers, nanofluids, and solar-powered energy storage solutions. He also investigates metal matrix composites, additive manufacturing, and high strain rate mechanics. Recent publications examine corrosion behavior in composites, additive manufacturing microstructure engineering, and casting technologies.
Dr Li has secured funding from the Royal Society and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
