Liane Leedom is a Professor and Practicum/Internship Coordinator in Behavioral Science at the University of Bridgeport's College of Science & Society. A psychiatrist with medical training from USC and Yale, her research examines personality disorders' impact on parenting and family systems through an ethological framework.
Leedom's work explores psychopathy in family contexts, human social behavioral systems, and trauma recovery interventions. She has published extensively on parental psychopathy, intimate partner abuse counseling, and lifespan development from biopsychological perspectives.
Honored with the Edith Wharton Society Award, Leedom maintains an active research program investigating dominance behavioral systems, psychopathy adaptation theories, and clinical applications of ethological psychology. Her recent books include comprehensive texts on lifespan development for clinical professionals.
