Prof. Liam Murphy is a Full Professor of Computer Science & Informatics at University College Dublin (UCD) and Director of the Performance Engineering Laboratory. He holds a B.E. from UCD, M.Sc. and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley. His research focuses on performance engineering of networks, software systems, and multimedia transmissions. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers and is an IEEE member and Fellow of the Irish Computer Society.

Teaching: Coordinates courses on computer science fundamentals, distributed systems performance, and software engineering at UCD.
