Lia Roberts

Lia Roberts is Professor and Chair of the Department of History and Political Science at Mount Saint Mary's University, where she also directs the International Relations Minor and Center for Global Initiatives. She teaches international relations, comparative politics, and political methodology.

Her research examines Latin American politics, democratization processes, economic reforms, public opinion in new democracies, and gendered responses to globalization. Current projects analyze neoliberal reforms in Argentina and leftist incumbents in Latin American elections.
