Prof. Li Ming Wen is a Clinical Professor at the Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney, and Director of the Population Health Research and Evaluation Hub. He specializes in childhood obesity, physical activity, and public health interventions. His work includes leading the NHMRC-funded Healthy Beginnings Trial and developing evidence-based programs to prevent obesity in early childhood. He holds editorial roles in Frontiers in Adolescent Medicine and Frontiers in Endocrinology.
Research focuses on obesity prevention, health promotion evaluation, and behavioral interventions. He collaborates internationally, including with Fudan University in China on SMS-based obesity prevention programs. Awards include the Baxter Award (2000) and NSW Health Award (2014).
