Li-Chiou Chen is a Professor and Interim Dean at the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, Pace University. Her work focuses on cybersecurity policy, user authentication, application security, and interdisciplinary IT auditing education. She leads the CyberCorps program funded by the National Science Foundation and multiple GenCyber initiatives with the National Security Agency.

She has received multiple Pace University research awards and served as principal investigator for federal grants exceeding $1 million in total funding.
Key publications span top journals including Computer & Security, Decision Support Systems, and IEEE Transactions. Her work on DDoS defense economics, BioWar biological attack modeling, and IT auditing curriculum development demonstrates interdisciplinary breadth.
