Levi DeValve is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Booth School of Business, The University of Chicago. His research focuses on applying optimization techniques to solve complex operational challenges in areas like online retail demand fulfillment, network inventory management, and platform pricing, blending theoretical rigor with industrial collaboration.
DeValve earned a PhD in Decision Sciences from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Mathematics (summa cum laude) from the University of Connecticut. His prior experience as a consultant at ZS Associates informs his practical research approach.
His work explores real-time demand fulfillment, dynamic inventory policies, and two-sided market optimization, with publications in top journals like Management Science and Operations Research. Current research trends involve network optimization, submodular modeling, and multi-echelon system efficiency.
