Lesley Ingram-Sills

Dr. Lesley Ingram-Sills is a Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Science at Edinburgh Napier University's School of Applied Sciences, where she serves as Programme Leader for the MSc in Applied Sport Science and Well-Being Theme Lead at the Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland (MTBCoS). A former elite mountain biker, she integrates athletic experience into research on cycling science and athlete performance.

Research Focus: Her work spans cycling biomechanics, e-bike innovation, trail therapy for mental health, physiological impacts of vibration exposure, exercise immunology, and sleep science. She champions equity/diversity as co-chair of Women in Cycling (Cycling Industries Europe) and Steering Committee member for IMBA Europe's Women's Network.
