Les Postawa

Les Postawa is a Visiting Professor of Structural Design at the Manchester School of Architecture (MSA), Manchester Metropolitan University. With 45 years of experience, he has contributed to high-profile projects such as the RIBA Stirling Prize-winning The Centenary Building, Barajas Madrid Airport, and MAXXI Museum. His expertise bridges architecture and engineering, emphasizing collaboration with leading architects. He holds professional qualifications as an Incorporated Engineer and Associate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers since 1983.

Research Interests: Focused on innovative structural design, complexity in urban and architectural systems, and sustainable building practices. His work emphasizes the symbiotic relationship between engineering and architectural creativity.

Key Projects: Redevelopment of Wimbledon No.1 Court, ARTER Contemporary Art Gallery (Istanbul), and collaborations with Zaha Hadid Architects.
