Dr. Leoš Zatloukal is a researcher at Charles University's Faculty of Humanities, affiliated with the Department of Applied Social Sciences. He holds dual Ph.D.s in social work (University of Ostrava, 2010) and clinical psychology (Palacký University, 2012), and maintains active roles in psychotherapy, supervision, and teaching.

His research focuses on solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) applications across diverse contexts including couple therapy, trauma counseling, child psychology, and therapeutic discourse analysis. His work emphasizes practical implementations of SFBT while developing innovative frameworks for understanding therapeutic communication.
As co-founder of the DALET team (since 2008), he contributes to professional training in social work and psychotherapy. He also maintains a private practice (since 2007) and teaches at Palacký University's KKS CMTF program in Charity and Social Work (since 2010). Current research trends examine preferred futures in therapy, metaphor utilization, and cross-cultural applications of brief therapy models.
