Leontine Benedicenti, DVM, DACVIM, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences & Advanced Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery at Ryan Veterinary Hospital. Her clinical expertise focuses on inflammatory brain diseases and seizure treatments in canine patients.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Milan, Italy (2004), followed by extensive neurology training: a rotating internship (2008-2009), Neurology internship (2010-2011) at the University of Guelph, and specialty Neurology internship (2011-2012) with residency (2012-2015) at the University of Pennsylvania.
