Leonhard Grosse

Leonhard Grosse is a Doctoral Student and Researcher at the Division of Information Science and Engineering, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where he joined in October 2023. He completed his M.Sc. in Information Engineering at KTH and holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.

His research focuses on:

• Information theory applications to privacy in data analytics and machine learning systems
• Developing privacy-enhancing methods using pointwise maximal leakage frameworks
• Quantifying privacy risks in data processing architectures

His recent publications consistently explore privacy quantification and protection mechanisms within information-theoretic frameworks, demonstrating a specialized focus on leakage minimization in data systems.

He works under the supervision of Tobias Oechtering, Mikael Skoglund, and Sara Saeidian, and has served as an assistant for the course Signal Theory (EQ1220).
