Lenos Trigeorgis

Lenos Trigeorgis is Professor of Strategy and Finance at Durham University Business School, where he directs the Centre for Strategy, Technological Innovation, and Operations. A pioneer in real options theory, he holds a doctorate from Harvard University and has taught at MIT, Columbia, LBS, and Berkeley.

His research develops real options frameworks for strategic investment under uncertainty, examining applications in corporate finance, innovation management, and operational flexibility. Recent work investigates how geopolitical risk influences CSR investment and how CEO personality affects strategic flexibility.

Trigeorgis has published in Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, and Journal of Financial Economics. He serves as President of the Real Options Group and organizes the Annual International Conference on Real Options, now in its 27th year.
