Lena Hipp

Prof. Lena Hipp, Ph.D. is a Professor of Social Inequality and Social Policy at the University of Potsdam and Research Professor at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. She holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Cornell University (USA) and has held academic roles since 2012, including W2/W3 professorships at the University of Potsdam and leadership of the WZB's 'Work & Care' research group. Her research focuses on social stratification, work dynamics, family policies, and labor market inequalities. She previously served as a policy advisor in the German parliament and completed undergraduate studies at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Sciences Po Paris, and Freie Universität Berlin.
