Lena Brogaard is an Associate Professor at Roskilde University's Department of Social Sciences and Business, specializing in public-private interaction. She leads the Roskilde School of Governance research group, serves as deputy head of the Center for Research in Public-Private Partnerships (COPS), and co-manages the department's PhD school. Her work focuses on how public-private collaborations influence quality, sustainability, and innovation in public services, with a particular emphasis on procurement and relational contracting.

Brogaard employs mixed methods, including surveys, administrative data, and interviews, while contributing to systematic literature reviews.
