Lena-Brit Amtsberg is a Research Associate and Lecturer at the Institute for Media Research, University of Rostock, where she conducts doctoral research on ADHD representation in fictional series since November 2022.

Ms. Amtsberg earned her Master's degree (2020-2022) and Bachelor's degree (2016-2020) in Communication and Media Studies combined with Romance Studies at the University of Rostock. She contributed to significant projects including the Diversity Report 2019 & 2020 (funded by Bundesverband Regie) and research on female producers in German television/cinema (funded by Producers Association).
She maintains active involvement in freelance filmmaking and has volunteered at Stark Machen e.V. since 2019, with office hours held Mondays 1:00-2:00 PM during lecture periods.
