Lekeitha R. Morris

Dr. Lekeitha R. Morris is Professor and Associate Program Director in the MS-SLP Program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences' College of Rehabilitative Sciences. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she specializes in pediatric communication disorders and clinical education.

Her research focuses on language/literacy development in preschoolers, caregiver training methodologies, and promoting diversity in communication sciences programs. Prior roles include department chair at Delta State University, where she taught courses in language disorders and early intervention strategies.

Dr. Morris holds a PhD in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University and master's/bachelor's degrees from the University of Central Arkansas. Her scholarship addresses service access barriers for marginalized communities through both clinical and educational research frameworks.
