Lejla Mahmutović is an Assistant Professor at the International University in Sarajevo (IUS) within the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering. She holds a PhD in cancer research and pharmacokinetics (2021) and currently serves as a Senior Researcher on the IVENT Project funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Sarajevo Canton. Her work spans molecular oncology, microbiome studies, and pharmacological investigations.
