Lei Wang is an Associate Professor in Mathematical Sciences at UW-Milwaukee. He coordinates the Applied Mathematics & Computer Science undergraduate program.
His research develops numerical methods for nonlinear PDEs, fast summation algorithms, and applications in materials science, geophysics, and machine learning. He held a postdoctoral fellowship at Argonne National Laboratory.
