Dr. Lei Bao is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical and Environmental Engineering at RMIT University, Australia. Her research focuses on nanomaterials, surface chemistry, and their applications in energy, environment, and health. She leads a team exploring nanocarbon assembly for energy conversion and biocompatible nanocomposites for biomedical uses. Notable awards include the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award and the 2014 Australia Endeavour Fellowship.
