Dr. Leeza Bacon is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in Health Care Management at Northwood University, with an adjunct faculty role at the DeVos Graduate School. She holds a DHA from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Central Michigan University, and a BBA from Northwood University.
Her research focuses on inductive analysis of qualitative data related to the opioid epidemic, systems thinking processes, and quality improvement systems in healthcare. She has extensive professional experience in healthcare governance, policy, and administration spanning over 18 years at MidMichigan Health.
Bacon is a certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Her teaching philosophy emphasizes transformative learning, leadership development, and personalized career planning for students.
