Lee Colquitt

Lee Colquitt is a Professor and Synovus Fellow in the Finance Department at Auburn University's College of Business. He currently serves as Interim Chair of Finance and teaches courses in Principles of Risk and Insurance, Property/Liability Insurance, and Business Finance.

Leadership & Service

Colquitt founded the Tau Sigma National Honor Society, which recognizes transfer student academic excellence across 170+ chapters nationwide. He has held leadership roles as president of the Southern and Western Risk and Insurance Associations and remains active in the Academic Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) and the Risk Theory Society.

Industry Experience

Prior to academia, he worked in employee benefits with The Guardian and The Equitable, bringing practical insights into his teaching and research.
