Lee Ann James is a Legal Writing Lecturer at Baylor Law School, serving full-time since 2019. She previously taught as an adjunct professor and currently teaches LARC courses and Advanced Discovery Management in the LARC program. She holds a J.D. with honors from Baylor Law (2002), where she was an Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review and a Trial Advocacy Team member. Professionally, she practiced medical malpractice defense and general litigation before transitioning to academia. She also works contractually for Baylor's Office of the General Counsel and the Baylor University Title IX Office.
