Lech Lichołai

Lech Lichołai is a Professor at the Department of General Construction, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture, Rzeszów University of Technology. He serves as both the Dean of the Faculty and Head of the Department.

• Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Solina Conferences (2006–2025)
• Active in scientific councils and committees (Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Solar Energy Association)

His research focuses on material and technological innovations in construction, passive solar heating systems, and sustainable building practices, with an emphasis on renewable energy integration and energy-efficient design. He has spearheaded academic events like the Solina Conferences, addressing topics such as rational energy consumption and innovative technologies.
