Lech Bałaban

Lech Bałaban serves as an Associate Professor at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz since 2012 and teaches at the Poznań School of Talents, mentoring multiple music competition winners. An accomplished performer, he has been a member of the "Amadeus" Chamber Orchestra of the Polish Radio in Poznań since 1988 and co-founded the "Wieniawski Quartet", with concert appearances across Poland, Denmark, Germany, France, and the former USSR.

His educational foundation includes violin and viola studies at the Academy of Music in Poznań, where he developed the technical mastery recognized in national competitions.

Bałaban's artistic identity centers on Music Performance, specializing in Violin and Viola interpretation within Chamber Music contexts. His career demonstrates deep engagement with classical repertoire through recordings of works by Bach, Handel, Penderecki, and Mozart's Symphony Concertante, emphasizing collaborative artistry over solo virtuosity.

As an educator at the Poznań School of Talents, he has cultivated competition-winning students while maintaining active performance collaborations with artists like Wanda Wiłkomirska and Ewa Pobłocka at "Bravo Maestro" Festivals.
