Leaunda Hemphill is a Professor of Instructional Design and Technology at Western Illinois University's School of Engineering and Technology. With a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from Utah State University, she specializes in online education, digital literacy, and technology integration across educational contexts.

Her research focuses on online program development, virtual learning environments, cross-cultural educational collaboration, and strategies for addressing cyberbullying. She has contributed to numerous publications analyzing technology integration frameworks, digital pedagogy, and systemic educational reform.
She has received multiple awards for excellence in educational technology and internationalization, including the COEHS Faculty Scholar Provost Award and multiple Provost Awards at Western Illinois University.
