Leanne Kelly is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University's Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI), within the Faculty of Arts and Education. Her work focuses on humanitarianism, development evaluation, and responses to crises such as disasters, conflict, and violent extremism. She leads a 4-year ARC Linkage project exploring NGO responses to preventing/countering violent extremism in Asia and Africa. She also serves as National Evaluation Advisor at the Australian Red Cross.
