Dr. Leandris Liburd is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Emory University's Department of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences and serves as Associate Director for Minority Health and Health Equity at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her work focuses on community health promotion, chronic disease prevention, and reducing health disparities through culturally informed approaches. She holds a PhD in Medical Anthropology from Emory University, an MPH in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and dual degrees from the University of Michigan.
