Leander de Schutter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Organisation at the School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He holds a cum laude PhD in Management from Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and a magna cum laude MSc in Psychology from KU Leuven. His research focuses on leadership, trust dynamics, power asymmetries, and ethical AI applications in workplaces. He has published in top journals like Journal of Applied Psychology and developed tools like the ConMET app for measurement model analysis.
