Leah Tiisler

Leah Tiisler is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Mississippi. She holds an M.A. in Special Education from Santa Clara University (2009). Her research focuses on inclusive education, special education practices, and the representation of learning disabilities in children’s literature. She has published work analyzing how learning disabilities are portrayed in picturebooks. Currently, she teaches courses related to teacher education and curriculum development.
