Leah D Fitzgerald is a Senior Clinical Instructor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She holds a PharmD from Auburn University and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency in Atlanta. Her career spans acute care pharmacy (as an intensive care specialist) and community health. She currently directs pharmacy services at Denver Indian Health and Family Services (DIHFS), an Urban Indian Organization, and supports services at CU Family Health Clinic, a FQHC in Sheridan, CO.
Dr. Fitzgerald’s roles include ambulatory care preceptor for the University of Colorado Community Pharmacy PGY-1 residency program. She specializes in bridging clinical pharmacy practice with underserved populations, emphasizing community health and patient-centered care. Her professional affiliations include dual institutional commitments to academic training and direct clinical service delivery.
