Dr. Leah Comeau is a Researcher at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and the department of Languages and Cultures of Southeast Asia. She is actively involved in the Cluster of Excellence 'Understanding Written Artefacts' (UWA) and leads the project 'Flowers for Tamil Gods: Material Religion, Ephemeral Artefacts, and Texts' (2022–2025). Her work bridges academic research with cultural preservation initiatives, including projects like DiPiKA and Timbuktu Manuscript Training.
