Lea Drescher

Lea Drescher serves as a Researcher in the Neurotoxicology and Chemosensation group at the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors (IfADo) in Dortmund, Germany, operating under the Toxicology department of this Leibniz Association-affiliated institute closely connected to TU Dortmund University.

Her research concentrates on neurotoxicological mechanisms and chemosensory responses to environmental and occupational chemical exposures, investigating neural damage pathways and sensory perception alterations critical for workplace safety standards. This work integrates toxicological, neurological, and sensory science methodologies to assess health risks from industrial compounds.
