Dr. LeConté Dill is an Associate Professor in the Department of African American and African Studies at Michigan State University, within the College of Arts and Letters. Her research focuses on the safety, resilience, and wellness of urban Black girls and youth of color, guided by Black Feminist epistemologies and arts-based methodologies. She integrates poetry into ethnographic work through 'participatory narrative analysis' and emphasizes community-accountable scholarship.

Research Interests: Chronic disease prevention, violence intervention, juvenile justice, mindfulness in education, and the intersection of poetry with public health research. She co-leads projects with community organizers and health departments, emphasizing participatory approaches.
