LeAnne Syring

LeAnne Syring serves as Professor of Special Education and Coordinator of Special Education Programs within the School of Education at Southwest Minnesota State University, where she oversees academic programming and faculty development in her specialized field.

Her educational background includes:

• Master of Science from Southwest Minnesota State University
• Bachelor of Science from Southwest Minnesota State University

Dr. Syring's research centers on evidence-based practices in Special Education, with particular emphasis on inclusive classroom strategies, identification and intervention for learning disabilities, and professional development for educators serving neurodiverse students. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications to improve educational outcomes for vulnerable student populations.
