Lawrence J Chandler

Dr. Lawrence J Chandler is a Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Medicine. His research focuses on neuroplasticity mechanisms underlying alcohol and drug addiction, decision-making neurocircuitry, and alcohol's impact on adolescent brain development. He has held faculty positions since 1994, including at Louisiana State University before joining MUSC in 1999.
