Reverend Lawrence E. Frizzell is an Associate Professor in the Jewish-Christian Studies Graduate Program and Director of the Institute of Judaeo-Christian Studies at Seton Hall University. He has been affiliated with the university since 1974, co-designing its pioneering Jewish-Christian Studies program. Appointed by Pope Benedict XVI as Consultor to the Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews in 2008, his role was renewed by Pope Francis in 2014. Frizzell is a columnist for The Catholic Advocate and moderator of the radio program The Kinship of Catholics & Jews, promoting interfaith dialogue. His research focuses on Jewish-Christian relations, biblical influences on Catholic liturgy, and collaborative peace-building initiatives.
