Laurin Aman (she/they) is an Assistant Professor at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University. As an educator, researcher, designer, and fabricator, her work bridges hand-crafting, digital fabrication, and sustainable material systems.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Architecture (University of Michigan, 2013), Master of Science in Architecture Design and Research | Digital and Material Technologies (University of Michigan, 2022)
Her research, “(un)making material ecologies,” investigates material life cycles in environmental reciprocity, focusing on forgotten materialities, light/color dynamics, and site-specific spatial potentials. This aligns with her post-disciplinary approach to collaborating across academic and non-academic domains.
