Laurie Miller

Laurie Miller is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Central Clinical School at the University of Sydney's Sydney Medical School. Her work bridges clinical neuropsychology and research, focusing on memory disorders, epilepsy, and cognitive rehabilitation. She holds a BSc in Biology and Psychology from Westminster College and a PhD from McGill University, complemented by postdoctoral training at the University of Auckland. With extensive experience at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, she diagnoses and rehabilitates neurological conditions while mentoring research students and leading projects like an online memory training initiative.

Research Focus: Dr. Miller investigates how focal brain lesions affect cognition—especially retrograde memory—and develops group-based interventions for memory rehabilitation.
