Laurie Ehlhardt Powell is a Research Associate Professor at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Psychology. She serves as Principal Investigator/Project Director for CBIRT's NIDILRR-funded TBI Trainer Skill Building project and Project Director for Oregon's Administration for Community Living (ACL) TBI State Partnership grant. As a clinical speech-language pathologist specializing in cognitive rehabilitation for adults with mild TBI/concussion, her work bridges research and clinical practice at the Center on Brain Injury Research and Training (CBIRT).

Research Interests:
- Systematic instruction of assistive technology for cognition
- Adult cognitive rehabilitation post-TBI
- Development of TBI intervention frameworks
