Laurie E. Cohen

Dr. Laurie E. Cohen serves as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes, Associate Director of the REACT Program, and Professor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is an Attending Physician at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Einstein with primary clinical operations in the Bronx, NY.

Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania (1984), Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University Medical College (1998), pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital (1988-1991), and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital (completed 1994).

Dr. Cohen specializes in growth disorders, short stature, and endocrine complications in childhood cancer survivors including growth hormone deficiency and fertility issues. Her research examines how cancer therapies impact growth and endocrine function in children with CNS tumors, malignancies, and bone marrow failure syndromes, alongside fundamental determinants of growth and development.
