Laurie Arnold is a Professor of History and Director of Native American Studies at Gonzaga University, holding both roles since August 2013. His research focuses on Indigenous Columbia Plateau, Indian Gaming, and Mourning Dove, a Native American author and activist. He explores topics such as tribal sovereignty, cultural preservation, and historical legacies of Indigenous communities.
His scholarship spans disciplines including Indigenous Studies and History, addressing themes like archival research, legal frameworks, and socio-economic impacts of Indian gaming.
