Laurence Mathey-Maille is a Professor (PR section 9) at Université Le Havre Normandie, affiliated with the GRIC (Identities and Cultures Research Group) under the College of Letters, Human Sciences (UFR LSH). Her work aligns with GRIC's multidisciplinary focus on languages, literature, and human/social sciences, particularly French language and literature (CNU section 9).
GRIC operates through two research axes: Axis A: Literature through the prism of arts, sciences and practices (TRANSLATIO) and Axis B: Citizenship, Heritage and Diversity, yesterday and today. The laboratory emphasizes aesthetic encounters, cultural exchanges, and sociocultural transformations related to individual/collective identities.
