Laurence DAURES is a Professor of Finance at ESSEC Business School, specializing in financial market microstructure. She holds a PhD from HEC Paris (2003) and a Habilitation from Toulouse I Capitole (2024). Her research focuses on market liquidity, dealer behavior, and fragmentation in financial markets. Key roles include Board Director positions at Dassault Systèmes and LCL, where she chairs audit/compensation committees. She has received prestigious awards including the Joseph de la Vega Prize (2013) and IFSID Best Paper Award (2015). Active in academic leadership, she co-founded the Women in Microstructure conference series and organized major finance workshops. Grants include ANR funding (PRC 2024, JCJC 2011) and Europlace research support.
