Dr. Lauren Wroe is an Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Sociology at Durham University. She leads the Contextual Safeguarding research programme and contributes to the Communities and Social Justice research group. Her work critically examines structural inequalities in youth safety, with a focus on migrant rights, anti-racism, and social justice within social work frameworks.
