Lauren Sanders

Dr. Lauren Sanders is an academic with diverse roles across multiple universities, including Adjunct Associate Professor at the TC Beirne School of Law (University of Queensland), Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide Law School, and affiliation with the ANU National Security College. She is also a member of Deakin University’s Centre for Protection of Civilians and serves as Director for the Justice and Accountability Network Australia and the Asia-Pacific Institute for Law and Security.

Dr. Sanders has contributed to the academic community through her role as editor of the Law and Future of War podcast, engaging experts on law, emerging technologies, and military affairs. Her work spans both academic and practical domains, including long-term engagement with the Australian Defence Force and United Nations consultations.
